Discuss Chair position: Simon Hudson and David Murphet have shown interest in the position. It was discussed in the previous committee meeting since David does not show up to general meetings that he should join the committee first before becoming an officer as we do need active members. He has been invited to our next committee meeting. Date to be arranged. It was decided that SH should fill the position temporarily till the next AGM. ( After the meeting SH decided that he did not want to be chairman and has stepped down from the committee. The committee has nominated Micheal Graham as acting chairman until the AGM )
Shaun Taylor has been seconded on to the committee as a member till the next AGM.
Finances:
The council rent for the previous years have now been paid. The insurance has been paid. And the audit is almost complete. And the council survey is complete.
Gate and Fence
The council have agreed to repair the gate at their cost. They have been out with contractors to measure it up and take a look at it. I’m just waiting for the final details from them. There was also discussion of them paying for a fence that ran along the train line. Palisade fence the same as our front fence. But now I am getting no response at which I will be raising at the next NFALG meeting.
A warning will be issued to anyone tampering with the gates or doing unauthorized repairs on them. As there is no point us repairing it if he keeps adjusting it.
Water:
We are currently in £711 credit the water.

How disclaimer will be put together for the hire of Association tools it must be signed in receipt of tools.
Plot inspection:
Plot inspections will commence on the 4th 5th and 6th of April for people that previously failed and for new Plot holders to make sure that standards are being met. You do not have to be present the inspection will be done with the 360° camera.
Compost and Canes:
Around fifteen years ago, the compost lorry would arrive and more than a dozen people would turn out to help unload. Many hands make light work and the community thrived on work shared. More recently it’s been the same 3 or 4 people every time and the last time John unloaded it by himself. It’s not a surprise that he didn’t order any more. Now people are unhappy that there is no compost and no community. As a community we get what we build, if you don’t contribute, you can’t expect much back.
AOB:
A skip will be provided 3 times a year.
As one has just been I would appreciate it if you could store all your rubbish in a corner of your plot until the next skip is announced. No more rubbish is to be left in the car park. And could you also please be mindful that there is an entrance to a plot there. And it is quite rude to pile rubbish up there.
Hedges should be trimmed by the 1st of March.
