For the information of all we are of course insured against public liability. Since a copy of the certificate has been appended to the notice boards I also attach one here for your information as an awful lot of people don’t bother to look at the notice boards for some reason.
This years compost will be delivered on Thursday 10th March between around 10:00am and 11:00am to the association buildings adjacent to the main car park. The compost has to be off loaded manually. If anyone among you has the time to come and help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance from the committee.
After the successful vote last year, for which I thank you. We are now a Community benefit company…our official title is
OLD PARK FARM ALLOTMENTS COMMUNITY INTEREST COMPANY
Can I ask you too make note of a change to the normal date of the AGM this year it will be held on SUNDAY 3rd April at 10.00am. This is due to the unavailability of two members of the committee and the early Easter Holidays.
Could everyone coming to the bonfire night party tonight in vehicles please park their cars on Old Coach Road outside the allotments please, this is for safety reasons. Whilst we are providing the fire and the food and beer we will not be providing fireworks so please bring your own. An area will be set aside for fireworks launching.
We are going to hold a Bonfire Night Party on the main car park on Saturday 7th November this year starting at around 6pm. You are welcome to bring your own fireworks if you wish to and an area will be set aside for that. We will provide the fire, hot dogs and mushy peas. If you intend to attend can you let Jackie know numbers please for catering purposes.

From tomorrow morning for a few days there will be a skip on the main car park for our communal use. Please be reminded that the following are not allowed in the skip: Asbestos, Gas Bottles, Car Tyres, Car Batteries, Paint Tins or any Electrical Goods including Fluorescent Light Tubes. Please do not bring any rubbish from home either as happened last time, the skip is purely for rubbish from the gardens which cannot be readily burned on a burning day, bricks, rubble and that sort of thing. Anyone putting anything other than approved rubbish will be charged for part of the skip hire.
